The kitty used as a model for this drawing is my wonderful cat, Helios.

My cat was having health problems in 2022 and suffering greatly with a genetic knee issue that kept him from being able to move properly, and it was just heartbreaking. He couldn't play or make it down the hall to enjoy his favorite pastime: dinner. For weeks awaiting his surgery while we tried to raise funds, I would pick him up and carry him to his food bowl.

THE GOOD PART: Since his knee surgery he is happier than ever!! He runs and plays, cuddles with his sister, and is in the best shape of his life. He reminds me every day that things can & will get better!
